About Dr Peter Bullpitt

Graduating in Medicine with Honours from the University of Queensland, Dr Peter Bullpitt trained in pathology at the Royal Brisbane and Prince of Wales Hospitals. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1979. And in 1980 he began his 33 year tenure as a Staff Specialist and Senior Staff Specialist in Anatomical Pathology at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick. With a special interest in cutaneous, ophthalmic and gastrointestinal pathology, Dr Bullpitt is a Member of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, the Australasian Dermatopathology Society, the International Academy of Pathology (Australasian Division) and an Honorary Member of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He’s taught generations of Pathology Registrars in Surgical Pathology and Autopsy technique, as well as conducted weekly tutorials for Dermatology and Pathology Registrars in Dermatopathology and General Surgical Pathology. Dr Bullpitt is currently working with his Kossard colleague, Dr Crotty at Sydney’s Specialist Dermatopathology CPC Path Laboratory.
