About Dr Penny Lim

Dr Penny Lim graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1998. In 2004 she completed the Internal Medicine Physician Training with the Royal College of Physicians of London and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She commenced her clinical dermatology training in 2005 at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Malaysia. In 2007, she obtained a Fellowship Scholarship Award from the Dermatological Society of Singapore for fellowship training at the National Skin Centre, Singapore. Dr Lim received the Advanced Master of Dermatology from the National University of Malaysia in 2009, and Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2012. She’s also worked as a Dermatopathology Fellow at the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia and, under the supervision of Professor Kossard, she completed a two year Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia Fellowship Program in Dermatopathology. She obtained the International Board Certification in Dermatopathology from the European Union of Medical Specialists in 2011. And, after working as a clinical dermatopathologist at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Dr Lim was a visiting medical officer at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital from 2014 to 2015.
